Kose Addiction BlackJack VS Rouge Bunny Rouge Salome

by Sonia G.

I just wanted to show you the difference between these two amazing black eye liner pencils. They are both black, they both last forever, but there is just a “little” difference in the blending and the intensity.

The Rouge Bunny Rouge Salome is much more black, more intense, but it’s also more difficult to blend, if you apply it and you want a blended or smudged application, you have to do it WHILE applying, you cannot wait 2 seconds, it will set and don’t give you a second chance.

Here is a disgusting swatch but you can clearly see the difference 😀

Even when blended, both applications won’t budge and they will last all day !

Both textures are creamy, the Kose Addiction Blackjack is less dark but allows you to work with it a bit more easily. If you want a very black application, pick RBR. If you want a more “subtle” black and you want to be able to blend it more easily,  pick Blackjack. Both serve two totally different purposes and both are fantastic !

I got the Addiction Rabbit Hole on your recommendation by the way:)
GREAT purchase!! THANK you.
It’s a FANTASTIC eyeliner – a divine very dark espresso brown which glides on like a dream & stays put!! It tops ALLmy other liners at the moment – including the RBR!

Thank you for letting me know, I really appreciate it 🙂
I am wearing it today and doesn’t leave my daily make up bag anymore !!! It’s such a perfect formula, I got the purple and the beige too, I use the beige on a daily basis, that beige is the best cupid’s bow highlighter ever and stays put all day !! Thanks for the Kose Addiction “enabling” and by the way, my bank thanks you too 😛

Ooh, your bank balance is going to be looking a LOT worse after London!
I think I’d best put the purple liner on my list too. I have green eyes so a touch of purple is always a good idea & I am sooooo impressed with the formula of the Addiction.

oh yes I am scared, but I am going to be extremely picky and selective on anything I get so it will narrow down the crazyness 🙂
Since apparently I have to go home early today (and not spend 12 hours at work…) I will upload swatches of this purple together with some other purples… 🙂

I know those 12 hour days only too well. Last week I had a 16 hour work day!!
Please don’t stress about the swatches. Enjoy your ‘early’ day home from work & put your feet up:))

Hurrah!!! My addiction brushes are also on the way:))
I got the blush brush, highlighting brush & the eyeshadow B. Almost the same as you:)
I also followed Nokoleta’s recommendation & got the Koyudo fu pa liquid foundation brush. So that my little brush wasn’t so lonely while shipping over, I got it two friends – the fu pa series cheek brush & the mineral foundation brush. I’m certain that I’m going to love these!

I think it’s fantastic that we can all share our favorites and help each other with our purchases 🙂

I didn’t thank Nikoleta yet because I wanted to get them first but I love the chubby look of them. Where did you order yours? Mine have arrived in Germany already but have been held by customs. I’m haveing a BAD run with customs lately:(((
By the time Hakuhodo releases it’s J series in the US we’ll all be too bank-rupted to buy any of them 😛

Sweet Make Up Temptations 17 July, 2012 - 2:17 pm

I got them from Koyudo.co.jp directly. At this rate, I will be speaking Japanese before Christmas 😀
I love chubby and dense brushes !
Hakuhodo is just killing us, but imagine the day you get your little parcel home ! They better not disappoint 🙂
